A Bright Future Ahead for Nitesh

When Shardhamma gave birth to her only child, Nitesh, she felt shocked and confused. She had never heard or seen a cleft lip before. Luckily, Shardhamma learned about our program at Chikkaballapura Government Hospital in Karnataka State, India from a friend and travelled two hour and a half to seek treatment for Nitesh.

According to Shardhamma, this program was helpful to me because I came here when she was only 24 days old and I was able to receive a lot of  information. Also seeing pictures of other children who have the same condition helped me to accept reality and hope that my son will be provided free treatment for cleft.

Nitesh has received lip surgery and nutrition counseling from our team in Bangalore, India. In a few months, he will also undergo a cleft palate surgery.

Shardhamma was overjoyed that her son was able to receive free, quality care from a young age. At just over one year old, Nitesh has his whole life ahead of him and, thanks to you, his future is looking a lot brighter !

We help children in need of surgery for treatable facial deformities such as cleft lip, cleft palate, tmj ankylosis, facial clefts, hemangioma and vascular lesions of the face.

At Trinity Care Foundation we believe in the future of our children – charity is just one of the many avenues we use to make the joy visible through the smiles of our nation’s children.
